If I don’t have Form 16, how can I file my return?

Is it necessary to keep business books of accounts for an extended period of time? The main place of business, i.e., where the business or profession is generally carried on, should be the location of all books of account and related documents. These documents must be preserved for a minimum of eight financial years.
2. How does Form 26 AS work?

3. What is the ITR-V?
The ITR-V is a 1-page acknowledgment summary you receive after electronically filing your income tax return. It must be printed, signed, and sent to the Income Tax Department within 120 days of e-filing your tax return. Also, you can verify your identity using Aadhar or net banking. The verifications will not be required if you filed with your DSC.

5. My taxes and interests have been paid, but I have not received a refund because I have not filed my return.

6. Do I have to file a return after receiving my PAN card?

7. Would I be allowed to file a revised return if I had made a mistake in my original return to correct the mistake?
